Here is some useful technique to extend battery life:
STEP NO 1: right click on the battery icon then select adjust screen brightness & adjust the level. Then select Windows mobility center to shut off the keyboard backlight. Then click on personalization & switch to a darker background & change theme color.
STEP NO 2: switch on airplane mode to turn off wireless components.
STEP NO 3: disable the location option in the action center. click on the right corner icon on taskbar click on location option to turn it off.
STEP NO 4: in the search box type control panel after that click on the power option choose either balance or power saver will reduce battery consumption.
STEP NO 5: type battery saver in the search box & click battery saver system settings then turn on battery saver option.
